Cookies
This website uses cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies”. These are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. The cookies we use do not collect any personal data. For example, when a document is downloaded we use cookies to save the document format.

You can change your browser settings so that you are notified about the use of cookies and these are only allowed on request, so that some or all cookies are disabled and so that cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the features of this website.

Web chat via Userlike
This website uses live chat software provided by Userlike UG (limited liability), Deisterweg 7, 51109 Cologne. Userlike uses “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable personal conversations in the form of real-time chats with you on the website. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Google is certified in accordance with the EU-US Privacy Shield

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

and therefore guarantees that the EU data protection regulations are also observed when processing data in the USA.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyse usage behaviour on our website. Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for this. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and commercial operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as your IP address, location and the time and frequency of visits to our website are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We do however use the anonymisation feature in Google Analytics. Google uses this function to shorten the IP address within the EU or the EEA.

Data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an analysis of your visit to our website and your website usage activities. This data can also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the internet.

Google states that it will not link your IP address to other data. Google has also provided further data protection information at

https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners

for example the options for preventing data use.

Google has also provided an opt-out add-on and additional information at

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

This add-on is compatible with all major internet browsers and offers you further control over the data which Google collects when you access our website. The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to indicate that information about the website visit should not be sent to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being sent to us or to other web analysis services. This Privacy Policy also provides further information on any other web analysis services we may use.

Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps to show our location and provide directions. This is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Google is certified in accordance with the EU-US Privacy Shield

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

and therefore guarantees that the EU data protection regulations are also observed when processing data in the USA.

When you visit our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established in order to enable the display of certain fonts on our website.

If you click on the integrated Google Maps feature on our website, Google will save a cookie on your device via your internet browser. Your user settings and data are processed in order to display our location and provide directions. We cannot rule out that Google will use servers located in the USA.

Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for this. Our legitimate interest lies in optimising the functionality of our website.

The connection established with Google in this way enables Google to determine which website your request was sent from and the IP address where the directions need to be sent.

If you do not consent to this processing, you can change your browser settings to disable cookies. For more information see the “Cookies” section above.

The use of Google Maps and information obtained via Google Maps is subject to the Google Terms of Service https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=DE&hl=de and the Google Maps Terms of Service https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

This website uses Google Fonts to display external fonts.

Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for this. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimisation and commercial operation of our website.

The connection established with Google by accessing our website enables Google to determine which website your request was sent from and the IP address to which the font needs to be sent.

Google provides further information at

https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated

https://policies.google.com/privacy

in particular information about the options for preventing the use of your data.

“Twitter” social plug-in
This website uses a plug-in provided by the social network Twitter. Twitter is an internet service provided by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, hereinafter referred to as “Twitter”.

Twitter is certified in accordance with the EU-US Privacy Shield

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TORzAAO&status=Active

and therefore guarantees that the EU data protection regulations are also observed when processing data in the USA.

Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for this. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement of the quality of our website.

If the plug-in is installed on one of the pages of our website you have visited, your internet browser will download a representation of the plug-in from the Twitter servers in the USA. It is necessary for Twitter to process your IP address for technical reasons. The date and time of your visit to our website are also recorded.

If you are logged into Twitter while visiting one of our pages with the plug-in, Twitter will recognise the information collected by the plug-in for your specific visit. Twitter may link this information to your personal Twitter user account. Google AdWords with conversion tracking
Our website uses the advertising service Google AdWords and so-called conversion tracking.

We use conversion tracking for the targeted advertising of our services. Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for this. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and commercial operation of our website.

If you click on an advert placed by Google, the conversion tracking tool we use saves a cookie on your device. These conversion cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally.

If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page on our website, both we and Google can determine that you clicked on one of our advertisements placed on Google and were subsequently redirected to our website.

Google uses the information obtained in this way to compile statistics about visits to our website. This also provides us with information about the number of users who clicked on our advert(s) and the pages of our website which were subsequently viewed. However, neither we nor third parties who also use Google AdWords are able to identify you in this way.

You can also prevent or limit the setting of cookies by changing the appropriate settings in your internet browser. You can also delete cookies which have already been saved at any time. The steps and methods required for this, however, depend on your specific internet browser. If you have any questions, please use your browser’s help feature, consult the manual for your internet browser or contact the manufacturer or support.
